Join The LPWA
The LPW Association is financed solely by the collection of annual dues from the membership which is currently $100 annually per household. Association expenditures fall into three (3) broad categories.
- Approximately one third of the revenues are spent on maintaining and improving five planted triangles, LPW signs, and stone pillars located throughout the neighborhood. Maintenance of these triangles adds to the unique character and charm of our neighborhood.
- Another one third is used to pay for our annual gatherings when members are invited to meet each other in a social setting as well as an annual meeting which includes presentations by the City of Yonkers, Sarah Lawrence College and local real estate agents on market developments.
- The balance is used for any communications, including maintenance of the website, as well as a modest surplus for contingencies.
New members can pay dues on-line, read about current happenings and events, as well as updates on changes within the neighborhood and the city. All future communications will be distributed digitally through our website.
Lawrence Park West Association (LPWA) is financed solely by the collection of annual dues from the membership. If you are not already a member of the LPW Association, I hope you will consider joining to help support our work and to protect the legacy of our unique community as well as keeping in touch with other homeowners and staying informed on any news affecting our neighborhood.
